Bare Butt

Well my new security camera finally caught something, but it wasn't what I thought it would be. We had installed power over ethernet cameras that record motion back to my FTP server at my home.
You don't need AC power because the network switch proivdes this instead. That makes the camera very useful in areas where power is difficult to wire.
They are made by Linksys and have been doing a great job keeping out the taggers (spray paint fiends). But last Saturday night a different kind of mischief was going on. My motion detection light kicked on and my camera started recording just in time to see a local teenager pull down his paints for a moon shot at the camera.
I have a few ideas on how to handle this. One is to print out the "faces" of the offender and post it on our fence. I could also just poist it on the internet. Then again I could take it to the local high school and show the principal to see if he would like to bring it to his mother. For now just pondering all these ideas is enough for me, and I smile.
